Last Sunday we headed to Perth via the train, and visited King's Park on Mount Eliza overlooking the city. There are great views of Perth sitting on the Swan River from up there and there are also many monuments.The park is huge and maticulously manicured. It is a pretty big area, that includes gardens that are themed for the fauna of different regions of the country. There are streams, fountains, and a tree top walk. It is a pretty cool place.

took us hours to see and appreciate the entire thing, and is very cool. It is much larger than Central Park is in NYC, but it is on the bluff overlooking the city.
